We absolutely loved our stay at this hostel! the staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even organized a fun New Year's celebration following the Colombian tradition. the hostel itself is bright, airy, and very clean with cozy rooms and two large terraces offering stunning views of Cali and the mountains. the location in the San Antonio area is perfect, being centrally located and in a great neighborhood. the hostel also offers free WiFi, which is a big plus for young travelers like us.

The guestrooms at Hostal Encuentro have a cozy and welcoming feel to them. I just loved the relaxed atmosphere and the simple yet comfortable furniture. It made me feel right at home as a budget traveler.

I recently stayed at Hostal Encuentro for two weeks and it was a fantastic experience. The homely and family-run vibe created by Adolfo, the owner, and his family made me feel like I was part of their Cali local family. The hostel was spotless and spacious, with color-coded dorms that matched the bedding and decor. The bathroom was bright and had plenty of showers and toilets, with hot water and provided soap. The kitchen was huge and well-equipped, and the breakfast changed daily. The overall decor was cute and homely, with lots of little knickknacks. The welcoming staff made me feel right at home.
